Special Round Table: The Current Covid-19 Crisis in India, and the Role of Coronavirus Mutations, 29/04/202118:00 CET
We have an open discussion video meeting Thursday 29/04/2021, 18:00 CET (Paris-Berlin-Rome), 5:00 p.m. GMT (London).
Topic: The Current Covid-19 Crisis in India, and the Role of Coronavirus Mutations
Goal: The new outbreak of Covid-19 in India is dramatic. These are times where we have to be in solidarity with the Indian people. However, there is unfortunately much too little we can do immediately to help the country. In this round table discussion we will focus on what we can learn from this crisis. What is the role of coronavirus mutations? What is the time scale for vaccination programs to bring relief? How much is human behaviour influencing disease dynamics? For example, is there a way to tell from data the relative importance of these factors?
Please forward to interested friends and colleagues!
